Hi, I’m Andy, a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor.

I’ve been driving for many years and have had the privilege of driving in many countries. Over the years I’ve driven everything from cars and minibuses, an articulated lorry, a tank, a hovercraft, and even a light aircraft!

 

While I’ve enjoyed the thrill of driving — including time spent on the German Autobahn — my greatest passion is road safety. I believe that safe, confident driving comes from understanding the rules of the road and applying them with courtesy and care. Courtesy makes all the difference; when we treat others with respect on the road, driving becomes safer and far more enjoyable for everyone.

To become an instructor, I completed both the enhanced theory and enhanced practical driving tests, followed by the DVSA instructional test, where my teaching methods were assessed to ensure they were effective, inclusive, and student-focused. 

With so much varied driving experience, I am keen to share my knowledge and experience with other new or existing drivers, all the time encouraging safe, courteous driving

My goal is to help every one of my drivers to become a safe, skilled, and considerate driver for life.
